[Complete Peerage X:473] (b) He held of Eudo (Eoun) Dapifer in Hawkwell, Essex and Glemham, Suffolk; in Sawston, &c. Cambs, and in Northill and Beeston, Beds; and of Nele d'Aubigny, of Cainhoe, in Wyboston and Streatley, Beds. (c) Possibly a sister of his overlord Nele, of Cainhoe of whom he held 4 1/2 hides in Streatley, 3 hides of which were his wife's maritigium.
